 My wife Sylvia
and I started R-S Mountain Morgans back in 1991, when we moved to Montana.
I had my first Morgan in 1950. When we moved to Montana
we knew we wanted to start a breeding horse ranch. Because of my past experience
with Morgans that is what we went looking for. My early Morgans had been
in the 14.2 h range with one exception - a 15.3 h mare. From that mare I
knew I wanted to start with the taller Morgan. We did finally find what
we were looking for, thus R-S Mtn Morgans was started.
 R-S Mtn Morgan Horses isn't just about producing horses.
The focus for R-S Mtn Morgan's is to produce a quality Morgan with all the natural ability a Morgan is known for.
Our stallions are proven producing stallions.
Passing on the excellence of their heritage with Size, and Stamina of the Old Western Working bloodlines.
R-S Mtn Morgan's are versatile in training abilities, Well mannered in personalities, excellent conformation, strong legs and feet, and beautiful kind eye's.
Any given weekend you may find a R-S Mtn Morgan winning in Dressage, during the week you may find that same horse doing a 25mile Endurance ride in the Mountains.
R-S Mtn Morgan's are excelling in Dressage, Carriage Driving, Eventing, Endurance, Jumping, Competitive Trail.
They can also be found on a long cattle drive and at the end of the day still looking to see what's left to do.
