1985 Deep Bay 15.2 hand Morgan Stallion

Rocky has been my personal mount for the last 14 years. We have done hundreds of hours together, from thousands of hard trail miles to working cattle to stallion shows. Rocky has always been and always will be my best horse friend. No matter what the terrain, he has never fallen down, doesn't know the word stumble, has never even scratched or cut himself on the trail. He is as sure footed as any mule. He has a great mind, never panicks or runs from a spook. He goes through downed timber in the black of night without a misstep. He has gaits I can ride all day - his fast walk and his smooth trot are a pleasure.

Rocky started his show training in jumping the year before we got him at age 6. As a 5 year old he competed at Nationals finishing in the top ten only to discover he had been kicked in the pastern prior to competing. Even then he never quit. He is a true competitor at all he does.

Why do I tell you these things? Because a great Morgan stallion has the right type and temperament and is able to equal or better himself in his offspring. Rocky has done this consistently. Many a Morgan horse breeder has looked at Rocky, his get and his sons get, and see the consistency throughout the herd. His kids show the same great looks, smarts and way of going as their sire. He has many kids doing many different disciplines and bringing home the ribbons. Many people have seen his stamina and quickness and bring their mares to him.

One long time Morgan breeder watching Rocky work at many different tasks, said "He's the best all around using Stallion I have ever seen!"
